Arnside Knott

In the distance is the Kent Estuary widening out into Morcambe Bay. Just to the left of the Estuary is the familiar hump of Arnside Knott.

The photograph was taken from The Helm, another much loved hill. This one is on the South East edge of Kendal and has good 360 degree views. It involves 351ft. Of climbing on easy paths. Those who follow Gladders may sometimes find him up there with Gus.

The extra shows the Auld Grey Town of Kendal with some of the Lake District hills in the background. And of course a rare glimpse of Mrs. K. with her Pacer Poles.
