Beautiful bark

A good and interesting day spent at a Trustees' seminar in Edinburgh today. I picked up a number of good ideas about things we could do differently, which is what I hoped for. J and I followed it with an early dinner at All Bar One. Very enjoyable it was too.
I did notice how many poor homeless people sit on the pavements in the capital. On a bitterly cold day like today this must be just dreadful.

The weather was super when I was out with the dog before catching the train. This tree has been there in the car park all along and I have never noticed it. The bark is fabulous.
