Up close...but not too personal........

The horses were right up at the fence today... I'm glad the fence was there!

This photo has the wrong exposure and was shot into the sun as I walked home this afternoon, but I have to say I like the silhouette effect. None of the horses were at all bothered by my proximity and apart from one casual glance at me, carried on with their grazing. I think their coats might come off soon. 

A Literacy emphasis day, focusing on the phoneme "j" for the younger pupils and then the other extreme for the older ones....fronted adverbials, prepositional clauses, ellipsis, rhetorical questions....I'm learning all the time!!
