Who Can Jump The Highest?

A zebra jumping spider, whose scientific name means theatrical jumper, or its prey a springtail? I vote the springtail, they can jump the equivalent of a human vaulting the Eiffel Tower. This one was obviously jumped upon before it could launch.

Lovely to see bugs about today. I got one image with three in the same frame, a tiny yellow ladybird, a zebra spider and a velvet mite.

I had a nice walk at Lodge Farm this afternoon and shot two buzzards, the deer in the distance and the yellowhammers catching the golden rays.
