Sunshine

As the sun was shining today we decided not to question it or hope for more tomorrow, we just packed a picnic and headed for the beach.

We drove down to Seamill and all had a lovely afternoon on the shore. Carlos and I walked the length of the beach, Freya listened to music and drew in her sketch book while Noah spent his whole time at the water's edge. He had a great time catching wee tiny hermit crabs in his bucket, he also enjoyed exploring the rock pools and drawing in the sand.

It was a glorious afternoon and we treated ourselves to a wee ice cream in Nardini's on the way home.

The sea air and sunshine has tired us all out so a nice relaxed evening ahead.

It was nice to have another family day altogether as Noah has a sleep over at a friend's tomorrow, Freya is going to her dad's at the weekend and on Monday Carlos goes back to work while the children and I head north for a few days to visit Auntie Christine.
