Inspiration

A newly purchased casserole dish arrived today (see extras) and I was wondering what to cook in it as my first attempt.  

Later, we drove up to Peel Farm for a coffee and cake, only to discover it was closed on a Tuesday in the winter.  However, the resident chickens and ducks were still wandering around and this fine specimen gave me an idea.  No, I didn't kidnap it and take it home, but I did decide to do a chicken tagine for supper:-)
