The only way is up...

....until you reach the top! The Ards Man went for a yomp up the Mourne Mountains with the Precious and Gustavo today. The Gussies are visiting the aged relations (us) pre their year-and-a-bit long sojourn in KwaZuluNatal, where they'll be working in a hospital near the border with Swaziland.

The AM is going on a chaps' walking weekend in the Lake District and thought that a bit of training might be in order. They all reached the top of Donard, some in better shape than others! Apparently it was bitterly cold on the summit, with a lot of snow still lying on the ground. Unfortunately the Ards Man forgot his map, so they were guessing the route for parts of the climb, but they did eventually climb the right mountain! The Precious thawed out again on the walk down, as the sun was out.

Discretion being the better part of valour, I decided to stay at home and eat chocolate.
