Hepatica Nobilis

... is such a tiny delicate flower but it is also tough as nails. They are usually buried by snow several times each winter, then uncurl again as soon as there is the slightest sunshine. There was only rain today so this is the most open one I could find. After our warm winter, they are a month ahead of normal flowering time.
