Hurry up..

..and finish taking pictures - I'm cold, I'm wet, and I want to come in.. *

Answered a few emails. Did some research into wood/multi fuel burners. Ordered a couple of Jethro Tull CD's (2  x five disc box sets), and collected the eggs.

Then down the croft and dug out the four remaining holes for the ground posts. Measured, leveled, straightened to upright, gathered stones to form some "shuttering", and then it started snowing.

Only a shower I thought, a light one blowing in from Handa and the North West. It snowed for a bit, but only light stuff, and then it started coming from the West, and then the South West, and the flakes got bigger and bigger. After 10-15 minutes, I thought "this isn't going to stop for a while", so back up to the house. It didn't stop, so right choice made.

Sat down now, waiting for something to warm up in the oven, and it's stopped snowing, and the sun is shining again - but everywhere's sodden again.. There's snow on the low hills around the village..

I might finish the last 61 pierces of sky now!
Geology class tonight in KLB, all about plate tectonics, I'm told if "we" understand this fully, then geology is simple afterward..
