Jersey Quaker Meeting House
Time to take a few pictures during our lunch break at today's workshop with Friends here in Jersey. As I so often find in other Meeting Houses, the quality of the light is very special, even on a grey and overcast day like today.
The Meeting House here was built in 1872 on land bought by an English Quaker named Arthur Pease of Darlington, and was completely renovated in 2007-2008. For those interested in knowing more about the history of Quakers in Jersey, a very good account can be found at http://hampshirequakers.org.uk/jerseyhistory.php
