Mount Warning always stands out in the valley

It is the remant of the volcano that erupted millions of years ago and it would have been twice its current height . Named by James Cook as he made his way up the coast . There is a great walking track to the summit with incredible views . On one walk , we sheltered under a bush at the top in a lightning strike , eating frozen sandwiches , with a cousin who was visiting from the UK !
