Waiku Cave Track Lookout

So here we are! Before moving on this morning we walked up the track which led from the campground through ancient, wonderful forest and up to this lookout with fabulous views all round and always the ocean in the distance. After a day around Whangerai (including lunch at The Press Cafe which I can't recommend highly enough) we stopped in at the Falls before driving along the Tutukaka Coast to our wild camp for tonight. We are parked up above the beach in idyllic Sandy Bay and two minutes ago I rushed out of the van with my camera as the moon is perfect out across the ocean. However, you are stuck with us two because there are just too many great blips to choose from! Tomorrow Bay of Islands!
