Down by the river

Tranquil looking isn't it?

Behind me are 2 single storey blocks of flats, their windows and doors boarded up. Across the river a large period mansion rebuilt and looking splendid. All around the park I'm in are houses, some with repair work underway, a few look fresh but mist have the tired look of lack of maintenance while home owners battle EQC and insurance companies.

Deceptive isn't it.

It's still beautiful, a lovely route to exercise on after work, and an easy blip for me. I have photos from Sunday to process, and a few things to do towards next weeks trip. Then there is the garden to water...

I'd better move along.
