Chaos

I flap my wings in England and set off a tornado in Texas.

You've all heard of the Butterfly Effect right? Whereby a small change in circumstances can cause a large change in outcome.

The effect is not as drastic as described, it is however a real-world phenomenon and can be observed in simple experiments. It's most commonly used in weather applications where chaos is particularly prevalent.

All I have to say is that, given the weather we've had over here in the past few weeks, some butterflies have a lot to answer for!!! ;)
