It seems odd that it would take some persuading to get an Edgar to go down a flume at a swimming pool, but there you go. I checked that the landing-pool was shallow enough and the ride not too violent even at shoulder-blades-and-talus speed and persuaded him, then got to see his wee face when he emerged. Amos wore the exact same face when skidding off the bottom of the wee rainbow slide thing. The significant improved warmth compared to CEC pools was obvious, with Amos spending two hours in the water without starting to shiver, whereas he usually bails after forty minutes whilst Edgar will happily stay in for several more hours until I get hungry and persuade him out.
