Layers.

Blimey what a day. Up at 5.30 to do a bit of sanding down before driving to Stamford Hill to pick Alice up from a sleepover to get her to Mile End so she can get the train with the rest of the football team to Ruislip for a ten o'clock kick off. While they were being beaten and Alice getting girl of the game, me, Clare and Elsa got stuck into a mammoth decorating session. If we all really went for it I reckoned the girls could be in their new rooms by Sunday night.
Alice got back and jumped on the roller while Clare did the cutting in, and we all did her woodwork. Elsa put the final coat on her walls and woodwork while I did the cutting in. And by 10 o'clock we were all exhausted and me and Clare finally got our arses on the couch to catch up on a new Icelandic crime drama. God Iceland looks beautiful.
