Breaking waves . . .

Along to J's to take Scratch for a walk and the waves were breaking onto her windows!  Very wild, but then it was high water.  The house is very snug and well protected from the environment, it has stood there for hundreds of years and hasn't been washed away yet!

As you can see there is a kiln on the end of the house, used in the past for drying barley, now used for storing fire wood.
