Monomonday: ANCESTORS

Today's challenge had me rooting around in my old photo albums where I came across this photo of me and my Dad playing pitch and putt while on holiday (in Hastings, I think, or possibly Eastbourne - Heseltines may be able to throw some light on this:https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/2144149418952099119 ) somewhere in the mid-60s.

This could even have been the holiday in 1966 when Dad, as ardent a football fan as I was, managed to book our holiday to coincide with the World Cup so that we missed the final as we were onthetrain home on that historic afternoon. I still haven't seen anything other than the goals from that game!

Henri & I managed a hastily arranged game of golf this afternoon as he's not around for the rest of the week but thought I'd go for a photo of golf of a different vintage!

We'd hoped to visit our friend Dave in the hospice again this morning but, sadly, got a message to say he wasn't well enough to receive visitors.
