Mundaring

We took a drive into the hills for a picnic lunch under the trees at Fred Jacoby Park in Mundaring, this stretch of Bushland was cleared in the 1800's by a Pioneer named William Jenks, he planted English Oak and Willows seeds here, today they stand intertwined with the Australian Eucalypts.
Scattered under the trees were Pink Easter Lilies also known as the Naked Lady (Amaryllis Belladonna) a South African Bulb which flowers, entirely without leaves, around Easter time.
We enjoyed a lovely walk along the footpaths hearing nothing but the wind rustling through the leaves above and birds chirping flying overhead, so peaceful after a hectic weekend..
