Summertime....

Ooh a bit of sunshine.... lovely, more of that please.

I love watching butterflies flutter about.... spotted this one on a quick afternoon walk round the big hill in town. Dandelions might be technically weeds but they aint half pretty :-)


Edit - I've been informed these are not dandelions... my friend June said: The yellow flowers are hawkweeds, lemony coloured summertime relatives of dandelions. Dandelions are a heavier yellow and a denser flowering head, and my father always said they should be picked at their best on St George's Day to make dandelion wine.
