Coffee
Today, we decided to go briefly into Cambridge, have breakfast in British Home Stores, take a few pictures by the river Cam and then wander over to Scotsdales to get some plants for the garden. So, we did just that. After breakfast we went into Jessops to buy a second battery for Mrs GOG’s camera and when we came out, we discovered that she had lost the fastening strap off her new leather bag; the strap contained a normal buckle, with a magnetic latch attached to it. We retraced our steps in the Grafton Centre looking for this strap, but to no avail, so we decided to stop for a couple of double espressos and I took this blip of Mrs GOG carrying our coffees to our table. Whilst she was sat down at the table, she decided to empty her bag on the off chance that the strap might have fallen into it; she was lucky, there it was at the bottom having fallen between all of the items in her bag. She very carefully reattached it and it has not posed any problem since.
We thoroughly enjoyed our walk about Cambridge and obtained all of the items from Scotsdales, that we needed. It was a good day out, even if it was a bit windy.
