Pirate Carys!

Well it takes a little imagination but she was more than happy with her outfit, even when she saw others in the playground with proper costumes. Mind at least I made an effort, I saw one girl in a pretty summer dress and an eye patch, slightly poor effort on parents side I thought.

William meanwhile was a big boy and sat in the dentists chair on his own for the first time and opened his mouth wide. Good boy. He was rewarded with his choice of sticker and he picked...a Disney Sleeping Beauty sticker!! Hey ho.

After Music Train we meet N&P at the gym and I swapped car seats. They took over William while I dived into Stevenage to get a few things sorted. Picked up William, raced to school pick up. The eye patch was slightly smudged but otherwise not too bad. Carys came out with a cupcake. When I asked her why she had a cake (assuming it was someone's birthday) she said with all the logic of a five year old "Because we were learning about pirates Mummy!"
