Day 52 of 366 - King Henry VIII School!
Today's image was taken this afternoon just outside the City Centre of Coventry. It is a view of part of King Henry VIII School. This Grade II listed building was built during the later part of the 19th century. The move to this site was necessary as the old School building (The Old Grammar School - my image from 18th February) became the old and decrepit to use at the time. The current school was rebuilt after most of it was destroyed during bombing in an Air raid in World War II.
The photo was taken using the App VividHDR on my iPhone 6.
First I used the app Lightroom to edit the picture. I cropped the image, then I applied the Dynamic colour preset along with some noise reduction and clarity. I also boosted the vibrance and saturation a little. Next I used Mextures to apply the preset filter called Forgive Me by Ryan Olde. I then used the app Brushstroke to apply the preset S1 as well as add a canvas style to the image. Finally I used PhotoToaster to add the Tone filter, the Drama FX, a small dark Vignette and the Charcoal frame.
