Bonjour......!

Today we met Andrea's father for the first time. It didn't feel like that; more like we'd known each other for a long time...a very comfortable and relaxed day. He is over from Bordeaux for a few days, to see the wedding venue and get the wine order...and to meet us!

Christian-Jaques has had his own vineyard, produced his own wine and been a buyer for several of our markets over here. He is quite an entrepeneur and at the moment runs a B&B of ten chalets around a swimming pool built by himself. He cooks for his guests using only home grown veg, and of course can recommend a good wine to go with the meal. Most importantly for us today, he speaks excellent English! 

Home again now....and I can't say I'm looking forward to tomorrow....This week has gone all too quickly!
