A Right Pair of Pumps

Friday the boiler pump died.

Today the fish tank pump died.

What have I done to anger the God of Pumpitude?

While I'd much prefer to spend dosh with a smaller aquarium parts supplier, the only way I can get one urgently is to buy one from Amazon.  Some suppliers had some very inflated ideas about pricing.  I've no problem paying a bit of a premium to a small business seller, but overcharging by 50% and for slower delivery is not going to cut it guys.
