Photographers for the Cumbrian Floods Photowalk

We went to this Photowalk and auction today in Glenridding organised by several professional landscape photographers - both local and from further afield.

A really great and inspiring day with a good turnout.  Everyone was very chipper inspite of the weather which was a good reminder of why we were there.

This morning we went on one of the steamers to Aira Point where we then divided off into groups to take photographs.  After lunch we had talks by Mark Littlejohn, Paul Mitchell and Joe Cornish.  The day included an auction of prints and raffle - and the whole event raised more than £20K  for local people and businesses affected by the recent floods.  Fab.
