There Is Nothing Like A Dame

I took the boys to the Royal Tunbridge Wells half marathon today. They said it was tough. All three did PB's. It was lovely to see Dame Kelly Holmes in the mix. What a lovely lady.
She purposely started at the back so she could encourage people as she ran past. Then she stayed to welcome people in and pose in photos for everyone who wanted one. I was surprised at how small she was.
While they were running Hollie and I walked four miles. Most exercise I've had all week.
Ended up at the Drs on Friday and now taking antibiotics. Fingers crossed I'll be rid of this chest infection very soon.
