Lancashire Witches Walk

This is the start of a 51-mile Long-Distance Walk commemorating the 400th Anniversary of the hanging of the Lancashire Witches.

It stretches from Barrowford to Lancaster and is marked along the way by ten cast iron "tercet" waymarkers, each embossed with stanzas from the walk’s poem "Lancashire Witches", written by the Poet Laureate Carol Ann Duffy
