A Peep Thru the Pinhole

Outside the 'Gazebo'

Bodenham Arboretum (Wolverley, Worcestershire) - I felt that I needed a 'fix' of impending spring, and the arboretum is usually a good place for getting a spring in your step. So, I had lunch* there first, and then strolled around the grounds (or some of them) for this 'lift' of the spirits. The sky was pretty dull, but it was lovely seeing the swathes of daffs everywhere - some in bloom, others trying hard to get there. The 'gazebo' in the picture is just one of so many features that are around the arboretum.  (See Extra for a view looking out from the gazebo.)
(*The food in the arboretum visitor centre is always freshly cooked and, where possible, sourced from their integral farm. They don't do 'fast food', and have promised never to do so.)
I may have mentioned this before, but one year ago (yesterday) I, we, scattered Liz's (my wife) 'ashes' around her favourite tree in the arboretum, so of course I stopped by that, and sat on the nearby bench by the lake, where she herself liked to sit.
