Rain the valley!

What a wild, wet and windy day!! 51mph winds and rain that hardly touched the ground as a result...it simply has flown across the landscape! I tried to capture this on camera, but it was one of those things you had to see with your own eyes. 

It has definitely been one of those days where you just have to get out and embrace the weather...and then strip on your return home and change into dry clothing!!! May have done that :-P 

Getting Bobbie (my wee car!) packed up ready to drive back up to Northumberland this evening...never my favourite drive from the company filled days in Yorkshire to my little, lonesome, quiet flat in Killingworth. It is always fine by Wednesday though as you just get used to it. :-)
