Wiring

The cooker 'packed up' and not wanting to buy at new one at this juncture resorted to ebay.

I spotted a similar one  in not to distant Ashford and got it for £20. Hefted it back to base - blimey the metal sheeting is sharp - and wired it in and realised the cooling fan (not fan in oven) wasn't working. Consulted the internet and worked out what was wrong and took the part from the old cooker and fitted it to the new one. Now working fine and in much better condition than the one I just took to the dump.

But it took some sorting out. Still £20 for a relatively unused AEG cooker (because it wasn't working) and a bit of fiddling seemed pretty satisfactory at the end of the day.
