This was going to be called 'Survivor' with a crowbarred-in 'Eye Of The Tiger' reference after Hull City's dogged fight against Arsenal in the FA Cup but I'm going to save that one for the final I reckon, ahem...

Very impressive gig in the evening, Julia Holter at Summerhall supported by DM Stith who was also rather excellent. I'd never seen Julia before but have bought all her stuff from the start pretty much and she didn't disappoint - piano/keyboards, viola, double bass, drums set-up, and some fabulous versions of older material dropped in the set along with the 'Have You In My Wilderness' crowd-pleasers.
