Holyrood and Westminster

Gillian's Adoption Night, by all accounts the best there's ever been. The ceilidh was great, with a show stomping strip the willow finale. Must have been good, Tess was never off the dance floor and Dave, one or two drinks down, was a'hoolie'in a oer the place.

The turnout was huge, the hall was jumping and every generation was represented in great number, as was Holyrood and Westminster, all with nothing but fantastic testimonials for Gillian. Team G's canvassing, leafleting and campaigning commitments and energy levels (in all weathers) for Aberdeenshire East SNP are quite something and put my paltry occasional leafleting to shame, speaking of leaflets, I've got some to deliver.....

And earlier, fruitless but happy searches in the sunshine for the JG Kingfisher and the Promenade's short eared owls in Aberdeen with gadget free kids ( banned for a week for being wee nyaffs and far more biddable as a result).
