Cycle Lovers

We Dutch just love cycling! That's always been like that. Our flat landscape and short distances make the bicycle an ideal vehicle.

Besides serving a practical transport function, it's also very popular for recreational use.

The Netherlands has 19 million (usable) bicycles on a population of 17 million and therefore has the highest density of cycling around the world.  Way more than Kathy Melua's 'Nine million bicycles in Beijing' song!
