Swan Aquasises

While watching the swans on the Leg of Mutton Pond I became aware of a commotion in the stream beyond. I got there to find this cob splashing about madly - I had seen this behaviour before after a pair of swans had coupled. The pen was preening quietly along side. Being in  a stream I was able to get really close. I caught the whole sequence which was joyful to watch as the cob was obvious very happy!
