Rat in a feeder

I put corn in a large metal container suspended from a tree branch to allow the chinese geese access to food without it being stolen by the chickens.

This little fellow thought it a good place to quietly get on with his breakfast.

Rats have such a bad press but are really quite pretty creatures.
