Bear Power

En route to Shetland - yay! - but tonight's boat has been cancelled due to high winds further north so we are lurking in a Premier Inn near Aberdeen before travelling across tomorrow. Spent the afternoon wandering at Collieston and the Sands of Forvie, which I last visited on a family holiday 45 years ago. Decided that the place had changed less than I have! Tomorrow morning we are going inland to visit some rellies. Have acquired Bernard the Bear as a wee pressie for them because he is strong and brave and sold for a good cause - Great Ormond Street Hospital for sick children, where my late mother trained as a nurse in the 1940s
