Yorkshire Areas

It is getting near to the Yorkshire Area competition for Brass Bands, and BD1 Brass are working hard on the CAMBRIAN SUITE. A really lovely piece to play and to listen to, and lots of details in it to enjoy.

This evening Lee Skipsey, MD of City of Bradford Band , our sister band, came to add his own unique edge to our preparations, which are progressing well under the baton ( if he used one!) of Chris Lewis. This was a candid shot I took of Lee whilst he was in deep discussion with Chris at the end of the rehearsal. Would love to know what they were discussing but with that fingering he might have been saying we were  f sharp!
