Turtle Island Warrier

I love this sculpture. It is about a foot tall and I watched while Sara Swink made it. I was at the Creative Arts Community "Arts at Menucha" taking a ceramics class and Sara was taking it too. The following year I took a class from her.

I attended several years and then had to stop due to my responsibilities at home. This year I am finally going back. "Art Camp" as I affectionately call it, is just a kick. I hope to take a portrait class from Melinda Thorsnes, another wonderful artist. My teacher Trish will be teaching open studio painting the week I'll be there. And of course I will be hanging out with the great group of artists who attend. Currently I am working on setting up care at home for Arvin and the kitties.
