Paradise

The duck and the location we live in. Stunning day and slightly cooler which is nice. Out with blipmate at the Lower Moutere River.
Plenty to see and capture. The male paradise duck my best image, followed by the female and then the pair in extras. I liked the stone work  but felt it was too busy in behind the birds and overshadowed them.
The shelduck is unusual in that the female is the showier bird with the white plumage on its head.
