The sea turned red

An afternoon run today. As I ended the run the sun had recently fallen below the horizon, and the sky became a deeper and deeper red. From up on the Grey Lynn ridge, the sky was reflected in the water of the upper Waitemata Harbour. This is about the darkest red I have seen the sea.

I'm now off to sit with the Auckland grandsons for a while as mother is busy.
