Big wheels keep on turning....

Mrs F still away, so once cattle fed had to abandon ship and take Littlemiss to he ski-ing lesson at Hillend. Got her started then nipped away to the Suntrap to hand in seed barley for germination testing then back to Roslin to collect antibiotics from the vets then back to Hillend to watch her on the slopes. I have never tried ski- ing, and after watching today, I don't think I ever will !
Today's blip is the mechanics of the ski lift. It's sad I know but I was interested in how it all worked including the counter balance block that kept the tension on the steel rope. And all these wee kids are a lot braver than me going up to the top of the hill on it !
And I have never been so cold in my life as I was standing around today- missed having my boiler suit and work clothes on !
