The great outdoors

Not hill walking but forest walking this afternoon.

Loads and loads of frog spawn - and this seems way too early to me.

The dogs loved the streams. Bones were aplenty and it was good to get muddy.

We inspected the local trout farms too. Thousands of fish. Fascinating.

We also tried to identity the site of our two families nightmare with a hornets nest but none of us could be sure. We will never forget it and DougsJB has his childhood antics written down in history around here. All he did was wack a tree that sounded hollow a few times!!!!

There are also relatives everywhere but I didn't take their photo.
