Getting the sparkle back

No, it surely can't be...

... more snowdrops? Well, your eyes are not deceiving you, I'm afraid.

The weather reverted to its usual windy and wet self after two good whole days. I kept looking to see if this was Storm Jake, but it wasn't. Maybe they've realised that this naming of storms encourages them so that there won't be any more naming. But it was stormy anyway.

The drama at work today was around a Border Terrier who was brought to us with no collar on by one of the dog walkers in the Dell. Somebody at work thought he had seen the dog with an elderly man earlier that day, so we were concerned for the owner and checked the local area and asked other walkers if they had seen anyone. We decided that we should contact the police who actually arrived quite promptly (they are never very interested when we've been vandalised, but I suppose this was a bit different). They didn't find anyone either, and then another police person arrived and took the dog to see if he was chipped. If he wasn't, he was going to the Cat and Dog Home. I'll leave you at this cliff-hanger as it's where the day ended for me. You will need to read on to learn the outcome...
