Carla in the kitchen

Or more accurately, Carla sitting on the bread maker and demanding more food.

Carla is our very thin, hyperthyroid cat. She has survived all year despite the odds against her, but does look rather scraggy these days. She is a gentle, shy animal but she knows how to indicate her wants/needs/desires!

Mum had a physio appointment today. The news was mixed. Gill, the physio, thinks that general progress is very good. She has confiscated the night splint and told Mum to use the day time splint only occasionally. The down side is that one tendon is now slipping to the side of a different joint. This is new since the operation. So, the surgeon will see Mum for an earlier appointment than planned.

Packing nearly completed and holiday to St Petersburg almost booked!
