The storms continue

The locals have been waiting for rain and they have certainly had their wish. It's sub tropical here and when it rains, you certainly know it. It has been virtually constant for the last 24 hours or so but I did manage a walk into the village with my neighbour late this afternoon and it was alternately wet and then sunny, hence the rainbow. It was not possible to get a photo without a lamppost in the middle as there was another further along. It's the local hotel perched on the edge of the cliff. We had planned to use their lift which goes down through the cliff side but it was closed for safety reasons.
