Old tech II

A friend dropped an old computer off to prep for giving away on freecycle. It's quite old, about a decade I think, and in most respects both under powered for it's age and quite obsolete by modern standards. On the other hand it still actually runs Linux quite well.

It started life with Windows on it, and then was upgraded to Linux for a while, but had issues with strange stuff left over from Windows that refused to die. Anyhow dban erased all traces of Windows and this week I put a clean copy of Debian GNU/Linux onto it.

I cracked the case to check what was actually on the motherboard - old stuff - and while it was open I took this picture.
