A day in paradise

A fellow blipper had recommended two days ago this recording of Haydn's Creation which the postie delivered this wet dreary morning .This magnificent work always lifts the soul and especially this exceptional ,and new to me,performance .A wise musician once reminded me that in this work of genius ,in the duet between Adam and Eve, Haydn had written the first and probably the best love song.
Adam "Dearest wife!by thy side,the hours flow sweetly by.Every moment is bliss,no sorrow troubles them."
Eve "Dear husband,at thy side,my heart is bathed in rapture.My life is devoted to thee ,may thy love be my reward"
So no work done today simply listening to a quality of sound and singing and playing unsurpassed.Thank you D.
