Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral

We decided to spend a bit of time at the Metropolitan Cathedral of Christ the King in Liverpool. We were able to go down into the crypt, which I'd never done before as it has always been closed when I've been there. It was wonderful and so much bigger than I expected, we only just had enough time and it would be well worth another visit. No photos allowed in the crypt though so this is the wonderful main space. 

We had a quick lunch in the visitors centre and then it was time to take Mum to the coach station for her journey home.  I came back to a cold house as the boiler has broken! 

Fabulous news from the Blipfuture Team today, WE now own the site! Congratulations everyone, what a fabulous community this is and we now hope to continue for many years to come, regaining the family feel at Blip Central. :-)
