Place des Festivals, again...

One festival pushes away another in Montreal. The Place des Festivals and the surrounding streets are closed pretty much all summer. After the Francofolies (festival of French song from all over the world), we then had the Montreal Jazz Festival which is an important one internationally. Now, along with an international Circus festival (modern circus, not the animal kind), starts the Festival Juste pour rire or Just for laughs festival. It features mostly stand-up comedians but also some group shows, plays, a huge parade of twins and music. Most well-known American comedians have been to the festival. In this picture, they are just setting up huge flags. As you can also see, Montreal is a cyclist city. I like the interplay of big city buildings, fun filled decorations and cyclists.
